Ibrahim Mahmud
Salaam. I'm Ibrahim. I'm a med student from Bangladesh. Soon to become a doctor inshaAllah. Although as a soon to be
doctor, I need to study a lot, I like to do so many other things! I like reading, drawing, playing, travelling, even sleeping. I also like to try out
new things, recently I'm into cooking:)
I'm always struggling to become a good Muslim. I need all the motivations, even by writing my own writings. I've only started to write and Aaila is the place where I got the chance to share, for which I'm grateful to Allah.
Pray for me so that I can become a better Muslim and a good doctor.

Dealing with pain
Tue, Jan 31, 2012
He pushed the door slightly. There she was, the little angel, curled up in the bed. Mahmud felt an aching emptiness inside. It had been a week since their sister had died. Salma was in her room most of this time-crying, hardly eating or talking to anyone. As a brother he felt now was the time to have a talk with her, to help her get on with life. He sat beside her. She seemed so serene now that she was sleeping. He removed some of her hairs from her face. She woke up and sat. They both just looked at each other for some time. Then she broke down, fell down in his arms crying. He held her tight, her body shaking from the sobbing.

Compassion
Thu, Apr 05, 2012
Sometimes it just happens that we don’t have enough compassion for others. Sometimes we’re too occupied with what we must do that we don’t really think about others. It’s the lack of compassion that makes us behave badly with those who are below us in social status. If we thought them as equal human beings, as we should, we couldn’t be rude to them.
